But these rules have since relaxed; nowadays providers can own individual blocks of 1,000 rather than 10K at once – giving more freedom in choosing your perfect digits!

Numbering Plan Areas (NPAs) are the basis for area codes, those three-digit numbers that we dial to make phone calls.
Although an NPA can stretch across multiple rate centers–what would otherwise be separate regions with their own identifiers–the 305 area code in Florida is a prime example, existing among five different areas: Keys, Miami, Homestead, North Dade and Perrine.
So if you call someone whose number begins with “305,” it could come from any of these parts of the sunshine state!
